Sony phone with 8.1 mega-pixel camera

Sony Ericsson has unveiled a new Cyber-shot phone with an 8.1 megapixel camera.

The camera on the C905 includes face detection technology, auto-focus, Xenon flash, smart contrast, and image stabilisation.

The C905’s other features include a 2.4 inch scratch resistant screen, 2G-bytes of memory, and GPS navigation with geotagging for photographs.

Internet access is provided via wi-fi connectivity.

Available in black, silver or gold, the C905 will be available to consumers towards the end of this year.
